  • Physically healthy
  • Safe travel possible
  • Women with mahram (majority opinion)

Conditions for Hajj to Be Accepted

1. Sincere Intention

Hajj must be only for Allah — not for fame, tourism, or showing off.

2. Halal Money

Hajj funded with haram income may not be accepted. Purity of earnings is crucial.

3. Following Sunnah and Correct Rituals

Hajj has specific steps:

  • Sa’i
  • Standing at Arafah (main pillar)
  • Muzdalifah stay
  • Rami (stoning pillars)
  • Animal sacrifice (for Hajj Tamattu/Qiran)
  • Hair cutting/shaving
  • Final Tawaf

Missing essential pillars can invalidate Hajj.

4. Avoiding Major Sins During Hajj

Allah says:

“Hajj is during well-known months; whoever performs Hajj should not commit obscenity, sin, nor argue unjustly.”
(Qur’an 2:197)

Avoid:

  • Fighting

  • Gossip
  • Cheating
  • Harm to others

Hajj is a journey of sacrifice. Patience earns huge reward.

6. Repentance and Forgiveness

Make sincere tawbah, ask Allah forgiveness, reconcile with people.

7. Good Character and Service to Others

Helping pilgrims, showing kindness, and staying humble earns reward.

After Hajj

A sign that Hajj was accepted is positive change in life:
